It appears when we can not see our future, our nature tends to feel trapped in our own fears and limitations. Instead of trusting and enjoying the adventure with Yeshua, We begin to recognise our weakness and vulnerability in this world and it is at this point we can choose the highly deceptive “safe” path of control.
I tell you the Truth blind faith is impossible to walk apart from faith in G-d.
“without faith it is impossible to Please our Father……” – Hebrew 11:6
“……..Blessed are those who do not see yet believe.” -John 20:29
If we begin to be overly self focused and focused on our circumstance instead of G-d focused, Christ centered, we will self destruct preventing the Fathers plans for our lives. This is the ultimate tactic of the deceiver. Don’t allow the enemy to deceive you thus giving him relevancy via the fear that will consume you.
“You become that which you behold.” -2 Cor 3:18
Whatever you focus on or look to, becomes your source and supply, dictating your response to any given situation in your life. You begin to reflect that which you are focused on. “KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE FATHER AND HIS PROMISES.”
When we focus on your inability to see the future we tend to carry some unbelief and distrust in the Father’s ability to guide, protect and provide for our futures. This robs us of hope and future and eventually hope deferred can set in.
Hope deferred is a funny thing really. It can hide in the cleft of the rock of our passivity of our denial in the mere fact we can do nothing apart from G-d anyways. Hope deferred will fester to the point you have no desire to seek the very face of our Lord. It becomes to painful to hope for things you can not see
“But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.” -Romans 8:25
“Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.” – Hebrew 11:1
“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” -2 Cor 4:16-18
So together today let’s lay all down our own ideas desires and control at the feet of the Father. Let’s together pick up the staff of Hope, Belief, Trust and Adventure aligning our dreams and desires with the Father and “CRUSH HOPE DEFERRED.” And together as one body “Let’s get our feet moving on the pathway of the unknown mysteries of the future.”
